The college has well qualified faculties in almost all subjects with 4 out of 39 (including lecturers on contract base) have got doctorate degree and four have M. Phil degrees. All the faculties are involved in restructuring the syllabus for the newly formed University. Many of the teachers are serving as chairmen for the respective subjects in terms of holding academics for entire subject in the University. Dr. M. G. Thakkar – the principal coordinated the workshop for restructuring the syllabus and assessment pattern at F.Y.B.Sc.in the year of 2006-7. The Comprehensive Continuous Evaluation has been successfully introduced in the FYBSc. The changes in the curricum has also been suggested and implemented according to the CC Evaluation method.
The library of the college was one of the richest in the State and the richest in Kachchh before the devastating 2001 Bhuj earthquake. It provides service to the researchers and seekers of knowledge from other institutions and public. The students of open category as well as SC/ST and OBC catagories are given admission, varying from third class to distinction, and passing marks for the BSc students in the previous examination, utilizing the admission quota according to the rules of the state Government. Feedbacks are collected from students for improvement of teaching.
